Kyrgyz Snow Leopard Project

At the end of September I will return to Kyrgyzstan to work with Kenesh Dzhusupov and Nazgul Esengulova on a new participatory video project focusing on the relationship between snow leopard conservation strategies and everyday life in village communities in the Tien Shan mountains. Ian Convery, an environmental scientist and ethnographer at the University of Cumbria, will be joining us on this new project.

Ian and I have been working together on a social history project with Gypsy and traveller families in Cumbria.
